Perpetual Calendar for Birthdays and Anniversaries
A perpetual birthday calendar lists the days 1 to 31 for each month with no year or weekdays, so it works every year. Write birthdays, anniversaries and other yearly dates once, and reuse the same sheet year after year.
Choosing a version
Print the one-page version for a quick overview of every birthday, and the 12-page version for room to write names, ages and gift ideas. The one-page chart has a column for each month and a row for each day. The 12-page version gives each month its own page with a full line per day.
February 29
February has 29 lines, so a leap-day birthday has its own place. Days that don't exist in a month, such as April 31, are shaded out. The next leap day is Tuesday, February 29, 2028.
How do I find the weekday of a date each year?
This calendar shows dates only, so check a dated calendar for the weekday. The 2027 calendar and 2028 calendar show every date with its weekday and US holidays.
Keeping the list on a computer
The Word and Excel versions are editable, so you can type names into the right day and print a fresh copy whenever the list changes. In Excel, each day of each month is its own cell.
How do I use a perpetual calendar?
To use a perpetual calendar, check it at the start of each month and copy that month's dates onto your regular calendar or phone. Add new birthdays as you hear about them, in pencil if dates might change. Some people add the year of birth or marriage next to the name, so ages and anniversaries are easy to work out.
